Not sure what to say at this point. The Brewers are simply playing bad baseball. Really bad baseball.
While it might not be the time to bail on this season entirely, things are looking grim for the crew. In the midst of 20 games in 20 days, we recently found out that Ryan Braun may miss some playing time. Having the MVP candidate out for some time does not help what has been an inconsistent offense.
However, the real problem on this team is still the starting pitching. Tonight the Brewers will start Alfredo Figaro for the first time this season. Perhaps Afredo will be impressive, but I am not overly optimistic. He has only pitched 26 innings this season and I would bet his leash is short. For now, it appears that we need to get excited about pitchers who are probably better served to be starting in Nashville than Milwaukee.
We will see how it goes, but this could be a bumpy couple of weeks for Brewers fans.
